David Cdavid. Neuhaus

Chief Executive Officer / Founder

David is now in his 18th year in the insurance industry with 15 years adjusting experience. He began his insurance career as a marketing representative for a national forensic engineering firm, where he was responsible for the state of Florida.

David then became a Managing Partner and Vice President of Business Development for a large independent adjusting firm. Enjoying all aspects of the insurance business, he created Insurance Claims Unlimited in 2005.

David is a retired military officer, C130 pilot of 23 years from the United States Coast Guard. He was employed by American Airlines flying the Boeing 727 as a first officer until he was furloughed after “911” in 2001.

David is a native of Illinois and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He and his wife, Ansley, have three children and reside in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Ansley Neuhaus

Chief Financial Officer

Ansley Neuhaus is the Chief Financial Officer for Insurance Claims Unlimited. She has managed ICU’s accounting department for eleven years and personally oversees the preparation and reconciliation on all accounts each month. In addition, she handles all of the financial information for the company.

A true Florida Cracker, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University where she earned BS degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Design along with a minor in Marketing. After graduation, she was employed by Maas Brothers department store as an area sales manager eventually becoming an assistant buyer at their corporate headquarters in Tampa, Florida.

Ansley has her own interior decorating company in which she was honored with having decorated the “Home of the Year” in Winter Park, Florida in 2008. She enjoys spending time with her three children. She and David live in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Gregory Alvord

Claims Supervisor/Account Manager

Gregory has been in the insurance industry in Florida for over ten years and has well rounded field adjusting experience, including full adjustment, in both daily and catastrophe claims, has examined daily claims, worked with the Florida Insurance Guarantee Association as a desk adjuster, field adjusted claims for Hurricane Ike and been a quality claims supervisor.

His experience in the field enhances and broadens his claim handling knowledge. Gregory has handled a variety of policies and worked with several different carriers. This diversity has enabled him to obtain a full understanding of the claims process, policies and insurance issues in Florida.

Gregory has a master’s in science from the University of Southern Mississippi, retired after twenty-eight years teaching high school biology, crew rowed for Rhodes University and Rhodesia, has been a member of Lions International for more than forty years, plays Handbells, is a Stephen Minister and Summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2010.

He lives in Chesapeake, Virginia, is married to Deb Alvord a Commercial Property Insurance Claims Examiner and they have two married daughters.

Jose Mohammed

Account Manager

Jose Mohammed has been involved in the insurance industry for over 25 years.

Jose started as a claims intake associate at Allstate Insurance from where he moved on to become a personal lines auto adjuster.

After a few years in this position based out of the Fort Lauderdale area he decided to take the challenge of commercial property claims at the Allstate St Petersburg office.

From Allstate he then transitioned over to Zurich North America at their Tampa office at Zurich he handled commercial property clams and builder’s risk claims.

Jose was also part of a team handling the McDonalds book of business claims for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

When not working Jose likes to paint and take photographs. He has been able to incorporate the two mediums and has art pieces being shown at art galleries in the Tampa Bay Area.

Robert Meyerhoff

Account Manager

Robert brings over 16 years of experience in the property casualty insurance industry. Skills include Quality Assurance; analyzing data to recognize training opportunities and implementing that training, account management, and field supervision.

Robert has worked both Daily and CAT throughout the state of Florida, Texas, Tennessee and Louisiana. Robert is well rounded in policy and the specific differences they may have per carrier and per state.

Prior to working in the Insurance Robert worked in the Home Building industry as a Purchasing Manager for one of the top 5 home builders in the country.

Robert holds a Florida 6-20 All Lines License, Texas All Lines License, and is IICRC Certified.

Stephen Boren

Senior Examiner

Stephen has 14 years of experience in the property casualty insurance industry.  He has worked CAT and daily claims in Texas, Louisiana and Florida.  As well as field experience, Stephen has held Examiner positions for three different carriers in Florida.  In addition to daily and CAT property claims experience, his roles include three years working personal property theft claims and more than a year working sinkhole claims. He is currently licensed in Florida and Texas.

Before beginning his third career as an adjuster, Stephen operated his own business for ten years refurbishing rental houses, following a 20-year career with a major oil producing company.

Stephen has two daughters who have blessed him with seven grandchildren.

Executive Claims Administrator

Ana first began working with ICU when Hurricane Irma hit Florida. She learned very quickly how the insurance industry worked and ICU discovered what great talents she had to offer.  In 2019, Ana became more involved with ICU working daily as an office administrative assistant, she has been attending marketing events, and now taking on more responsibilities daily. Ana was born and raised right here in Tarpon Springs, FL, home of ICU’s corporate office, and is an alumnus from East Lake High School. She is currently a junior at University of Central Florida (UCF) taking classes full-time online and majoring in Criminal Justice. On the weekends, she plays softball and has been playing for the last 12 years. In 2018, she accepted a coaching position for the East Lake High School softball team and enjoys giving back to her old team.

Jessica Dara

Internal Operations

Meet our Internal Operations Assistant, Jessica Dara!  Jessica oversees dispatch for several carriers, provides managerial support in daily operations, and communicates with adjusters to ensure timely and accurate claim completion.  In addition, Jessica assists CEO David Neuhaus with direct marketing campaigns and coordinating events. Prior to joining ICU, Jessica lived in Gainesville and attended Santa Fe College full-time while completing an internship in Interior Design. She is now completing her associate degree online and plans to attend St. Petersburg College to further her education.

Jessica was born and raised in Palm Harbor, FL, and is an alumnus from East Lake High School. She is one of six children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends on the weekends.

Madison Neuhaus

Claims Administrator

Madison has been working at ICU in 2014, when she started as a high school intern through her school’s business academy. She was first a support person assisting our administrative staff with adjuster recruitment, retention programs, direct marketing campaigns and helped our event coordinator. After she graduated high school, she became more involved with the business and was promoted to administrative assistant where she was responsible for daily management of ICU’s claims management system, processing claims, and assisted in the maintenance of all the adjuster records such as contract packets and licensing within the Human Resource Department.

Madison was born and raised in Tarpon Springs, FL, and is an alumnus from East Lake High School. She will be returning to Eastern Florida State College to play softball for their athletic program, while continuing her studies in Business Administration.

Thierry Guemboura

IT Specialist

Thierry comes with 40 years experience in computer science. He developed and maintains the Claim Management System used in our office. Thierry is a Microsoft Windows Certified Specialist (MCP SBS): All Windows Operating Systems from Windows XP to Windows 10. Microsoft Office Expert: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, Visio, Access. Thierry is also a Mechanical Engineer and has his Florida adjuster license, with his Level 2 certification in Xactimate.
